For more than 50 years, the Occupational Therapy program at Elizabethtown College has prepared graduates who embody competency, professionalism, and compassion—serving individuals and communities across South Central Pennsylvania and far beyond.
This remarkable legacy began with vision, courage, and leadership.
In 1972, when occupational therapy was still a relatively unknown profession, Elizabethtown College took a bold step by launching one the first undergraduate OT programs in Pennsylvania.
On Power of One Day, we invite you to help carry this legacy forward by supporting the creation of the Occupational Therapy Scholarship. This scholarship will provide lasting financial support to deserving occupational therapy students, ensuring that future generations can pursue their calling to serve others.
This year, our goal is to raise $25,000 to match the generous $25,000 from the Zella Gahagen Charitable Trust in order to create a fully-endowed scholarship.
Your gift will:
- Honor the leadership that shaped Etown’s OT program
- Support exceptional students committed to compassionate care
- Create a permanent, meaningful impact through an endowed scholarship
Together, we can celebrate 50 years of excellence and invest in the next 50 — and beyond.
