About

The Center for Student Success plays a vital role in helping Elizabethtown College students persist, grow, and thrive. Through academic advising, tutoring, disability services, and holistic support programs, the Center ensures students have the tools, guidance, and confidence they need to navigate college successfully.

By meeting students where they are — academically, personally, and logistically — the Center removes barriers to learning and promotes equitable access to opportunities that define the Etown experience. These services are especially critical for students balancing complex schedules, learning differences, health concerns, or unexpected challenges.

This Power of One Day, philanthropic support will strengthen existing student success services while seeking to address an urgent accessibility need: a new Blue Jay Transport System for students experiencing temporary or permanent mobility challenges.

Your support helps provide:

  • Academic advising, tutoring, and success coaching that empower students to reach key milestones

  • Disability and accessibility services that ensure equitable access to coursework and campus resources

  • Peer-based learning environments that build confidence, connection, and belonging

New Funding Priority: Accessible Blue Jay Transport
Students with mobility challenges — whether due to injury, chronic conditions, or permanent disabilities — can face daily obstacles navigating campus. A new transport system will:

  • Ensure safe, reliable access to classes, academic support services, and campus facilities

  • Reduce physical and emotional strain for students managing mobility limitations

  • Promote full participation in academic and co-curricular life

Every gift to the Center for Student Success on Power of One Day directly impacts students’ ability to engage, persist, and succeed. Together, we can remove barriers, expand access, and reaffirm Elizabethtown College’s commitment to dignity, inclusion, and student achievement.
