Professor Michael Sevareid Scholarship

When we think back to our time at Etown, many of our fondest memories include the Alumni (Tempest) Theatre. That little black box in the middle of central Pennsylvania where we climbed the scaffolding hanging lights with the smell of the sawdust in the Scene Shop pungent in the air. Those emotions of closing night and performing on stage in front of our family and friends. And truly the best part: the lifelong friendships that we made, and how much Professor Mike Sevareid meant to so many of us.

With the 125th Anniversary of Etown’s founding upon us, this Power of One Day we’re asking you to please consider a gift to The Professor Michael Sevareid Scholarship. No amount is too small, and all gifts will go directly to the Sevareid Scholarship Fund, which is awarded annually to an Etown student who participates in the Theatre program on campus.
