This year, we’re rallying support for the Center for Community and Civic Engagement (CCCE)—a program that transforms students’ lives through hands-on service-learning experiences.
Through the CCCE, our students don’t just learn about history—they step into it. Last spring, a group of students embarked on a Civil Rights Service-Learning Trip, traveling from Pennsylvania to Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. They walked the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, visited the Legacy Museum and Lynching Memorial in Montgomery, and worked with Habitat for Humanity in Tuscaloosa—connecting deeply with the communities they served and the stories they heard.
Closer to home, the CCCE organizes impactful initiatives like the Spring Day of Service, bringing students together to serve others, from meal-packing events to community projects. Programs like the Unto Packing Project alone cost $12,000, and we need your help to continue this meaningful work.
