Residents and fellows are the physicians and advanced trainees who care for patients while continuing to learn, teach, and lead. At Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University, graduate medical education is built on community-based training across hospitals and clinics in our region, preparing physicians to meet real needs in Hampton Roads and beyond.
Your support helps strengthen the resident and fellow experience, from hands-on clinical learning and program resources to research, innovation, and wellness that sustain compassionate, high-quality care. Many of these physicians train in programs sponsored through our Graduate Medical Education office, including ACGME-accredited residencies and fellowships, along with accredited psychology and podiatry training pathways.
