About

At EMU, our Social Work students are the backbone of our community, dedicating themselves to serving others with compassion and commitment. However, many of these future social workers face unexpected challenges that can hinder their educational journey. Supporting our Social Work Emergency Fund is an opportunity to give back and is designed to provide vital support to Social Work students experiencing financial crises.

Why This Fund Matters: Social Work students often encounter unexpected hardships—medical emergencies, housing instability or unforeseen expenses—that can jeopardize their education and future careers. The Social Work Emergency Fund will offer immediate financial assistance to students in need, ensuring they can focus on their studies and continue their vital work in the community.

Our Goal: We aim to raise $2,500 to create a robust safety net for our Social Work students. With your support, we can provide funds grants to students facing emergencies and help them cover essential costs.

How You Can Help:

  1. Donate: Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your generosity can provide critical support to a student in need.
  2. Spread the Word: Share our campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. The more people know, the more support we can gather!
  3. Engage: Follow our campaign updates and participate in upcoming fundraising events to help us reach our goal.

Together, We Can Make a Difference: By contributing to the Social Work Emergency Fund, you’re not just donating money; you’re investing in the future of social work and ensuring that our dedicated students can continue their education without the burden of financial uncertainty.

Join us in empowering the next generation of social workers. Donate today and help us create a supportive community that lifts up our students when they need it most!
