Student Life & Enrollment

College is more than the classes you take. It is also the memories you make.

Student Life and Enrollment makes those memories. We are twenty-six departments that walk hand in hand with ETSU students from enrollment, engagement, retention, success, graduation, and career placement.

If you are an ETSU alum, you might remember Student Life and Enrollment as:

• The POLO leader you met your first week of class who calmed your nerves about being away from home for the first time.
• The Resident Assistant in your first residence hall who planned so many fun events you remember.
• The sorority sisters/fraternity brothers whom you still consider family.
• All the times you played in an intramural game, took a fitness class, or worked out in the CPA.
• The fun times and impact you made as a part of a Student Organization or the SGA.
• Meals in the Dining Hall and late nights with friends in the Cave.
• The times you ran down the ramp in the Culp Center (We lost the ramp in renovation, but gained a student boulevard on the first floor- we would love for you to come see it!).
• The help you got writing a cover letter and putting together your resume in the Career Center for your first big job.
• The tutor who helped you pass that last class needed to have all the credits to graduate.
• The feeling of accomplishment you felt when you made a real impact during your Alternative Breaks trip.
• The time you were feeling defeated but found hope through assistance from the Buccaneer Student Crisis Center, Bucky's Food Pantry, Buc$ for Books, or the Counseling Center.
• The East Tennessean you read each week.
