ETSU’s Charles C. Sherrod Library isn’t a warehouse for books. The Sherrod Library provides faculty and students with the collections, spaces, and services needed for their success. The Sherrod Library also supports ETSU with research assistance and instruction. The Sherrod Library's serves as home away from home for many students. The library is their place to learn, to work, to be with friends and to make new ones.
Many of these students find their first ever job in the library. On every floor and in every department, our talented student employees work alongside our dedicated faculty and staff, making Sherrod ETSU’s library for everyone.
A sampling of Sherrod’s initiatives includes:
- The Appalachian Book Collection Initiative to buy books from and about our region.
- Rewarding exceptional student employees with scholarships.
- The Ruth Gilly Baskette Sherrod Library Endowment supports our collections, services, and technologies.
