Sherrod Library

ETSU’s Charles C. Sherrod Library isn’t a warehouse for books. The Sherrod provides faculty and students with the collections, spaces, and services needed for their success. The Sherrod also supports ETSU with in-person and virtual research assistance and instruction. The Sherrod’s spaces are a home away from home for many students as their place to learn, to work, to be with friends and to make new ones.

The Sherrod Library also provides many ETSU students with their first ever job. On every floor and in every department, our invaluable student employees work alongside our dedicated faculty and staff, making Sherrod not just the library it is but the library it can be.

A sampling of Sherrod’s initiatives includes:

• Rewarding exceptional student employees with scholarships.
• The Ruth Gilly Baskette Sherrod Library Endowment provides a pool of funds that may be used for the library’s Greatest Need, as determined by the dean.
