Gifts to University Programs contribute to...
University Programs provide support to ETSU and students, regardless of college/unit.
- Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). Offers top-notch leadership courses for students interested in serving the nation as Army officers. Through class work and field training, students learn first-hand what it takes to lead, motivate groups, overcome challenges, and succeed in a competitive environment. During their time at ETSU, students will receive the tools, training, and experience necessary to graduate as a commissioned Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. You can help enhance their experience!
- Dr. Patricia Robertson Pride Center. Help provide programming, campus resources, and educational training for ETSU students, faculty, staff, and community members. We support the university’s mission and dedication to social justice efforts. Attention to gender and sexual minority related inequities also requires addressing all aspects of inequality.
- Eagle Cam. The Department of Biological Sciences at East Tennessee State University maintains live Eagle Cams in Johnson City and Bluff City, Tennessee. We are proud to be able to provide this window into nature that offers a view of our local, magnificent Bald Eagles. We welcome your comments on our LiveStream chat and Facebook page with us and with other eagle watchers. Thank you for your support of our Eagle Camera project!
- Esports. ETSU launched varsity Esports in 2020 and we're in our fourth season of national competition. We compete against other universities in League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch, and Overwatch 2. On the academic side, ETSU is proud to offer a graduate certificate in Esports Management. Our program features a state-of-the-art training facility (Culp Cave area), providing the best Esports experience in the region for competitors and viewers. Your support of this leading-edge program and students is greatly appreciated!
- Mary V. Jordan Multicultural Center. We seek to promote the University’s commitment of diversity, and to broaden multicultural awareness and sensitivity, encouraging cross-cultural collaborative relationships through recruitment, retention, engagement, and success.
- Military and Veterans Services. Help recognize the sacrifice of our Veterans and family members in protecting our great Nation. Your generosity assists in providing dedicated services and scholarships to our Military Affiliated Student population, to include the operation of the Military Affiliated Resource Center (MARC).
- Noland Family First-Generation Scholarship. Created in recognition of President Brian Noland’s and First Lady Donna Noland’s first decade of service to East Tennessee State University, this scholarship honors the Nolands’ belief in the transformative power of higher education. - WETS-FM. A public radio station operated as a partnership between East Tennessee State University and the station's listeners. Operating 24-hours a day at 89.5 MHz in the Tri-Cities Tennessee/Virginia region, the station is heard everywhere on the Internet through the World Wide Web.
