Student Life & Enrollment

A gift to Student Life and Enrollment directly supports student success. We engage students from application to the first day of class, from the first-year experience to graduation, and beyond. Our team impacts 100% of the ETSU student population. Below are some of the ways we use donated funds.

Support a student in need - gifts to causes such as the Buccaneer Student Crisis Fund and Bucky's Food Pantry ensure our students have a helping hand in times of need. With this support, they can focus on their education and not the crisis they may be facing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Buccaneer Student Crisis Fund has awarded over 250 grants to students.

Support student’s leadership development - gifts to Residence Life and Leadership, New Student and Family Programs, Leadership and Civic Engagement, and the Greek Life Education Fund support extracurricular experiences that provide opportunities for students to improve their leadership skills. Students plan educational programs, fun events, and create affirming environments for their peers.

Support experiential learning - gifts to the Student Media Center, fund the East Tennessean, ETSU's student-run newspaper currently celebrating it's 100th anniversary; the Edge 89.5 HD 4, the student-run radio station, and the One Button Studio, a one-stop shop recording and editing studio.
