The Panthers Softball program will enter the 2023-24 season with an experienced squad featuring seven seniors and a new coaching staff. After a 26-win season a year ago, the Panthers look to rely on a blend of experience and newcomers as they work to repeat on their first-ever NCAA-II tournament bid from 2022.
Leading this years Panther team will be first-year head coach Brook Gajewski, who replaces former coach Jerry Breaux, who retired after six seasons leading the softball program. After a stellar collegiate career at McKendree in which she was an All-American and two-time All-Region selection as a player, Coach Gajewski spent last year at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, an NCAA-III program that she led to a 32-11 record last spring, advancing to the league tournament championship game.
"It's been a dream to return to the GLVC and continue to build on the strong foundation of Drury Softball. I'm looking forward to turning some heads and many successful seasons", Coach Gajewski stated.

Time is running out on the 2023 Champions Challenge presented by Thompson Sales!
Currently, we have already surpassed the record of 679 donors that was set in 2022, with more than 800 donors already!
We are hoping to break another record of $263,119 in donations received!
All gifts go directly to provide funding and resources for the Drury athletic program of your choice, making an impact on over 650 student-athletes on a daily basis.
There is still over $55,000 in matching funds available for specific programs that makes DOUBLE THE IMPACT!

Thank you to all of the donors who have already made a gift to support the 2023 Champions Challenge presented by Thompson Sales! We have had a wonderful early start to this years campaign!
As of this update, we are already up to almost 500 donors, over 100 more to the campaign over last year at this same time! We appreciate those who have gave already to support our Panther student-athletes.
But...this is just day #1 and we have a chance to make history! The Champions Challenge presented by Thompson Sales goes through Tuesday, September 19.
