In 1996, armed with a phone and a desk, Ruth Ramsey recruited 40 students for Dominican’s fledgling Occupational Therapy program. 26 years later, OT is thriving with three national accreditations and a state-of-the-art facility in Meadowlands Hall.
If you hadn’t heard, Ruth is retiring from Dominican this year! A donor has established the Ruth Ramsey Leadership and Community Engagement in Occupational Therapy scholarship in her honor to support OT students.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to bring the fund to the threshold needed to endow it so that the scholarship will be a permanent, lasting way to benefit deserving students and honor Ruth for her tireless work in elevating and promoting our life-changing work as Occupational Therapists.
