Sister Barbara Werner
1939-2024
Sr. Barbara's legacy has touched hundreds— if not thousands— of lives throughout her lifetime of leadership, excellence, and service to the Dominican University community. She was a graduate of Dominican University from the class of 1962. She served as Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Director of Student Development from 1969 to 1983, Director of the Division of Teacher Education from 1989 to 1993, and Coordinator of Freshman Registration and Mathematics Professor from 2010 to 2013. She remained a valued member of the Board of Trustees, always committed to the growth and success of Dominican University.
Sister Barbara guided her community with grace and strength; in recognition of her steadfast devotion to her students, we invite you to contribute to the newly established Sister Barbara Werner Scholarship Fund.
