Dr. Nancy DiDona Memorial Fund

It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of Dr. Nancy DiDona, Director of the Division of Nursing at Dominican University New York. A beloved nursing educator for more than thirty years, Dr. DiDona was also an author, mentor, colleague, and cherished friend whose compassion, leadership, and dedication touched countless lives within our community.

Dr. DiDona dedicated her life to the nursing profession and inspired thousands of aspiring students to become the exceptional nurses she always believed they could be — often before they recognized their own potential. Through her guidance and encouragement, she shaped not only careers, but lives.

In honor of Dr. DiDona’s legacy, her family wishes to establish a memorial fund in support of nursing education. All proceeds will benefit the nursing program and its students, helping to continue the work Dr. DiDona cared for so deeply throughout her life and career. Every contribution serves as a meaningful tribute to an extraordinary woman whose compassion, dedication, and influence will never be forgotten.
