Program Overview: DUNY’s Women’s Soccer Team is led by Head Coach Brett Axelrod, who is in his second season at Dominican University. The 2024-2025 team was comprised of 22 student-athletes and placed 5th in the most recent CACC Conference.The University is excited for the team's upcoming 2025-2026 season!
Student Highlights: This past season, six members of the Dominican University New York Women's Soccer Team were named to the 2024 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team: Sabine Sorensen, Madeline Friedman, Kelly Harris, Kaitlyn Zeeb, Nicholette Brunner, and Nelly Arvidsson. Also, four players were selected to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer NCAA Division II Team: Kelly Harris, Nicholette Brunner, Sabine Sorensen, and Kaitlyn Zeeb. Senior, Isabella Wysocki, was named to the 2024 D2 Conference Commissioners Association (CCA) All-East Region Second Team.
How You Can Help: Each year, there are additional costs incurred when coordinating the team's travel. Accommodations are made for the team's transportation, supplies, and hotel stays as they compete in the conference. Your help would go a long way in supporting the team, and we would greatly appreciate it!
