Women's Lacrosse Team
Recent Accomplishments: DUNY’s Women’s Lacrosse team dominated this past 2024-2025 season; they led an undefeated 9-0 winning streak in the conference and finished the season with an overall 19-2 record! Under the leadership and supervision of Head Coach Rob Grella, the #1 seed Dominican University New York Lady Chargers captured their third straight CACC Tournament Championship!
Student Highlights: This past Spring 2025 Semester, eleven players from DUNY’s Women’s Lacrosse Team were named to the 2025 CACC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM: Erin Carr, Caitlin Costello, Domenica DaCosta, Grace DeStasio, Madelyn Grella, Lea Henke, Meaghan Kennedy, Josie Lettieri, Alexa Preston, Emily Sheridan, and Sydney Strohmayer. In addition, Women's Lacrosse players: Sydney Strohmayer, Grace DeStasio, Erin Carr, Caitlin Costello, and Josie Lettieri were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team. For the first time in the program’s history, DUNY was represented by Kristinamarie Kaszovitz in the IWLCA 2025 Senior All-Star Games.
How You Can Help: There is always an ongoing need for equipment and travel costs to support our team. This past 24-25 season was a fantastic reflection of the skills and abilities that DUNY’s student-athletes offer with the right support and coaching.
