Doane University’s theatre organizations embody the university’s mission by preparing students to create, appreciate, and engage with the arts through hands-on, collaborative learning. Members actively build sets, design costumes, manage productions, and are cast based on talent. In a supportive environment, they explore diverse forms of theatre while being mentored by industry professionals with experience from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Broadway. The two theatre organizations goal is to raise money for student trips, activities, team building meetings, and lobby display materials.
