Gifts to Student Programming Board contribute to...
The Student Programming Board (SPB) is the primary programming board for the creation and implementation of student activities. SPB is charged with the planning of events and programs that offer quality, diverse, social, educational and innovative activities on campus.
SPB is made up of students who meet weekly to oversee, coordinate, and facilitate these co-curricular programs on campus. Members welcome feedback and suggestions from the student body through regular surveys to make data driving decisions. SPB then uses this data to provide Doane University Crete campus students the opportunity to interact and participate in various campus events, projects, programs, and services that are intended to enhance learning, create a sense of community, and enrich the overall college experience.
Events include: Orientation and Back to School Programming, Homecoming, Glow Casino, Club Craze (Campus Org Fair), Live Music, Field Trips, Comedy, Trivia, Intramurals, Campus Conversations, and Dance Parties.
We aim to secure funding to enhance and expand these programs. In particular, we plan to grow our intramural sports offerings and increase events and collaborative opportunities to better support our growing international community.
