United States Institute for Technical Theatre

The Doane USITT (United States Institute for Technical Theatre) student organization on campus primarily works with the theatre department on all things tech theatre to support bringing a story to life on the stage in collaboration with the director and creative team. We also support student projects on campus, such as the new 24-Hour Play Festival, to test our skills and talents in a fast-paced environment. Each year, we send students to the National USITT Conference, where students can take workshops, meet grad schools, see/present their work over the last year, and connect with others to create our industry contacts and connections. The USITT Conference is in Long Beach this March.
