500 Donors in One Day
Davidson Academy Family -- we have been challenged! A Davidson Academy supporter has pledged $5,000 to DA if 500 people will give today -- 11/14/2024. We are asking all DA alumni, parents, students, friends, faculty, and staff to help us reach our goal by making a gift of any size.

Hello!
I hope you ALL had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed the family time as much as I did. We certainly are thankful that God brought our family to Davidson Academy. This is an amazing school filled with amazing people, and our Giving Day was a success because of you. Thank you so much for your participation, your excitement, and your generosity!
Our total for the day was $211,995.96 and we had OVER 900 donors, which far exceeded our goal of 500 donors. These gifts went directly to our Annual Fund which will be used for multiple projects around campus. Please click here to see more specifics about our 2024/2025 Annual Fund. Not only will you hear about what a difference your donations make – you will also SEE differences all around our campus. Including Giving Day, DA has received over $350,000 in gifts and donations this year. What a blessing!
The challenges, matches, and class competitions made it very exciting for our students. We had the leaderboards up on school screens all day long, and even brought them together in the gym to celebrate our 500th donation. We will honor those winners during our Giving Day Celebration Week at the end of January. They appreciate your kindness as much as I do, and many of them brought in money from their own piggy banks to show their love for DA – a touching sentiment we did not expect. Thank you for encouraging them, and for adding to their excitement.
We truly could not have had a better outcome for Giving Day. I hope you know how grateful we are, and how much we appreciate your continued support.
