Gifts to Wealth Management and Investing Club contribute to...
The Wealth Management and Investing Club (WMIC) is a student organization dedicated to educating and inspiring students interested in wealth management, asset management, and investing. Over the past year and a half, the club has grown to approximately 600 members. We host a weekly speaker series that gives students the opportunity to connect with and learn from local wealth management and asset management professionals. WMIC also hosts an annual Investing Competition, where students build and manage a simulated $1 million stock portfolio while applying their investment knowledge in a practical setting.
Any funding received would support accommodations for club events, including food and beverages. Providing these resources helps create a welcoming environment that encourages students to attend regularly, engage with professionals, and become more involved on campus. Funds not used for event accommodations would be directed toward WMIC promotional materials for tabling and outreach, as well as prizes for participants in the Investing Competition.
