What is the Curry Counts Day of Giving?

Curry Counts will run on April 5 and is a campaign for Curry College alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty, and staff to come together to give to the Curry College cause YOU are most passionate about. There will be opportunities to unlock challenge funds as we meet gift milestones. Check back on April 5 to see how you can increase the impact of your gift!

Do I wait to make a gift on April 5?

It’s not necessary to wait until April 5, we’d love to count on your support now. Make your gift early and share with your network on April 5 to increase the impact of your support.

Can I send my gift in via the mail?

Curry Counts Day of Giving is a time-limited giving campaign, we strongly encourage you to make your gift online. However, if your check is received by April 5 with Curry Counts in the memo, it will also be counted as part of the overall challenge results. Let our team know at giving@curry.edu so we can count your support toward our goal.

Can I make a gift with stocks or securities for Curry Counts Day of Giving?

Yes! Please call (617) 333-2121 or email giving@curry.edu to let our Advancement team know so we can count your gift, mention Curry Counts Day of Giving.

Can I make a gift through a donor-advised fund?

Yes, to make a distribution to Curry College through your donor-advised fund, please contact your financial institution and include “Giving Day” along with your gift designation. Let our team know at giving@curry.edu so we can count your support towards our goal.

Is there a gift minimum to count towards the Curry College Day of Giving challenges?

No! Gifts of all sizes will count toward our goals for Curry Counts Day of Giving. We’re aiming to get members of the Curry community to participate with a gift, so we encourage you to share the challenge within your Curry College network. Some challenges count gifts made toward specific funds or other criteria. When you make your gift online you will be able to see what challenges your gift will count towards!

I already made a gift earlier this year. Will that count?

Thank you for supporting Curry College this year! For this challenge, we are counting gifts specifically for Curry Counts Day of Giving. If you would like to support the challenge we encourage you to make an additional token gift on April 5.

I’ve already made my gift for Curry College Day of Giving. How else can I help?

Thank you for your gift – you’re helping us get one step closer to unlocking critical funds for Curry College! We encourage you to share the challenge within your Curry College social networks. Post on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with #CurryCounts.

Signing up on GiveCampus allows you to track the impact of your outreach! We encourage you to share messages to support Curry Counts Day of Giving with your network of alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff to participate with their gift on April 5!
