Chamber Choir

Prep’s choir program welcomes singers of all ages and levels of experience. Every year, the chamber choir represents Prep at all school Masses and concert performances throughout the city!

Your gift will support this program’s continued excellence in the new academic year and beyond!

• The chamber choir earned “Superior” ratings in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025 at the District Music Contest, and “Excellent” ratings in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2024.
• The chamber choir has students that are accepted to the All-State chorus on an annual basis, and most recently a few of our members were even accepted into the All-State Orchestra!
• For nine years in a row, the chamber choir has been invited to sing with the Omaha Symphony at the Holland Performing Arts Center. The young men will join other metro schools to sing as part of the Omaha Symphony’s 2025 Choral Collaborative event.
• The chamber choir performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City for Dr. Derrick Fox’s debut concert in 2023 and were invited to join Dr. Fox again in 2025!
• The entire choir leads music every year for the annual Blue Mass for firefighters and first responders.
• The chamber choir has led the crowd in singing the national anthem at the College World Series on multiple occasions.
• Choir students have teamed up with Marian High School students for musicals, show choir performances, the Marian Easter Mass and the Operation Others Mass.
