The Digital Media program at Creighton Prep equips nearly 200 students each year with the creative, technical, and storytelling skills needed to thrive in today's media landscape. Through hands-on experiences in photography, graphic design, video production, broadcasting, podcasting, and journalism. Students produce professional-quality work while serving the school community. Our student publication, Jay Journal, keeps the Prep community informed through timely news and feature coverage, while students also create original podcasts that develop communication, interviewing, and production skills. In addition, students publish Jay Junior, Creighton Prep's annual yearbook, preserving the stories and traditions that define each school year.
The excellence of Creighton Prep's Digital Media program has earned statewide recognition. Our students have received the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Gold Award for Best High School Sports Broadcast five of the last six years, demonstrating a sustained commitment to excellence in broadcasting. Students have also placed among the top 10 in the NSAA State Journalism Contest in both photography and graphic design. Your support would provide students with access to industry-standard equipment, software, and learning opportunities that allow them to continue producing award-winning work while preparing for college, careers, and lives of leadership and service.
