For over 50 years, Community College of Vermont has been educating the people who go on to shape the culture and economy of our state. As Vermont’s second-largest college, we have served over 162,000 students since 1970. With 12 physical locations and a center for online learning, we are active members of the communities in which Vermonters live, work, and raise their families.
CCV believes in providing opportunity to all who seek it. Each year, we serve more Vermonters than any other college in the state as we work alongside businesses, schools, and community members, shaping our institution to better respond to the changing needs of Vermont.
The majority of CCV students are the first in their family to go to college. More than three-quarters work full-time jobs while attending school. Some are single parents, and others are new Americans. Almost all depend on financial support in the form of scholarships and grants. Without it, CCV graduates wouldn’t be where they are today.
If you are one of the many who have been touched by CCV, we challenge you to make a gift to support our students on their path to a college degree. There are a variety of funds to choose from. Your gift might be $5 or $500, but either way, it all adds up! Every dollar counts and no gift is too small.

We are amazed at how our community has rallied together. More than 93 donors made gifts to CCV, providing crucial financial support in the form of scholarships and grants to help students stay the course on the path to a college degree.
Together, we exceeded our goal of $20,000 and raised a total of $21,829! Thank you to everyone who made this campaign a success, and a special thanks to those of you who made matching gifts and spurred on others to give. For over 50 years, CCV has been educating the people who go on to shape the culture and economy of our state. CCV students become Vermont's nurses, police officers, social workers, educators, business owners, and so much more.
On behalf of everyone at CCV, especially our students who will be deeply impacted by your generosity -- thank you.
