The Rams Aviation Club is a group of like-minded aviation enthusiasts who enjoy flying, building, and learning about aviation in a variety of different ways. Based at the historic Christman Field in Fort Collins, the Rams Aviation Club builds upon decades of aviation heritage, revitalizing a club first founded in 1948 as the Aggie Flying Club. Now expanding from a flying club, the new Rams Aviation Club intends to help members develop hands-on technical skills, enabling them to build and maintain aircraft. The best method to do this is by building an experimental kit plane from the ground up. The kit decided upon is the Zenith CH750 Cruzer, known for its stable flight characteristics and ease of building. This aircraft will also serve as an excellent flight trainer for aspiring pilots in the club. Supporting our club will help inspire the next generation of aviators to get their wings!
All gifts to this campaign benefit the CSU Rams Aviation Club through the Colorado State Student Organizations fund.
