Gifts to Anthropology Club contribute to...
On April 11-13 the CWI Anthropology Club will be taking their annual field trip – this time for a behind-the-scenes curatorial tour of the Anthropology and Ethnography Collections at the Natural History Museum of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Students will learn about Museum Sciences and best practices in curation, interpretation, collections management, and tribal partnerships with Indigenous people and their associated artifacts.
In addition, the Club will be given a guided tour of the Bear River Massacre Site and Memorial near Preston, ID by the former Tribal Chairman of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone, Darren Parry.
Help Anthropology Club fund this amazing opportunity to engage in immersive learning of the Native Americans of the Great Basin, both past and present.
