Gifts to SkillsUSA and CDL Class | School of Industry, Engineering, and Trades contribute to...
Gifts to the School of Industry, Engineering, and Trades will support the SkillsUSA Club and CDL class.
SkillsUSA, a nationwide organization, is represented through a club at College of Western Idaho. The purpose of the SkillsUSA Club is to provide opportunities for students from all backgrounds to enhance their technical and leadership skills. In SkillsUSA, college students compete in areas of their choosing, ranging from prepared speeches to diesel mechanics. The Skills USA competition brings people together to experience the joy of community working for a common interest.
Your gift to the SkillsUSA Club will help CWI state award winners travel to Atlanta, GA to compete in the SkillsUSA national competition. In addition, they will support educational field trips for the club.
The CDL class is for Heavy Truck students, to make them more employable as they are able to test drive trucks when they work on them. If they have to get a CDL through a truck driving school it is very costly.
Thank you for supporting the School of Industry, Engineering, and Trades!
