By supporting women’s leadership programs, such as the Sister Nancy Hynes Institute for Women’s Leadership (IWL), you are empowering Saint Ben’s students to explore and understand how gender influences leadership and how they can develop to be strong leaders. Through research, mentorship, and programs like our Women’s History Month Keynote Speaker, students gain firsthand knowledge, while also strengthening their sense of belonging and agency throughout their undergraduate experience. Your gift will help us develop high-quality, intentional programs that fulfill our mission of empowering women as local and global leaders by fostering inclusive dialogue, reflective thinking, and values-based leadership that honors women as shapers of our world. These programs include:

• Our Women’s History Month Keynote, last year we welcomed Amanda Rees, co-founder and CEO of Bold, who inspired students to follow their passion and “embrace the wiggles” when things get tough.
• Men as Feminists, which featured a panel of male faculty and staff at CSBSJU selected by the student body and gave students the chance to learn about feminism from diverse perspectives.
• Leadership development opportunities for students working with the Institute, such as attending conferences and summits focused on women’s empowerment and leadership.
