About

The Mission of CSB Campus Ministry is to foster and develop the spiritual growth of all students, particularly Bennies, through worship, mentorship, reflection, and service. Our programming is steeped in Catholic tradition, inspired by the Gospel, and rooted in Benedictine Values. These values compel us to live and learn alongside different cultures, spiritualities, and faith traditions, creating a dynamic, diverse, and spiritually welcoming community for all.
Our fantastic team in CSB Campus Ministry has 25 student Campus Ministers this year.

Our student Campus Ministers are part of five different ministerial teams that plan and lead programming centered on our mission of being a spiritually welcoming community for all. Our teams are Spirituality and Social Justice, Faith Communities, Liturgy, Los Mayordomos de Dios (LMD), and Interfaith Leadership. Each team strives to live and minister following the Benedictine calls to radical hospitality, welcoming all as we would Christ and listening with the ear of our hearts. These Benedictine values shape our ministry and help us build an inclusive community during our time at CSB/SJU and afterward.

Since each team ministers in different areas within our CSB-SJU community, we want to provide our students access to retreats that intentionally inspire and empower them. We currently do not have any opportunities for students to go on retreats within our CSB community or locally. With your help, we could help co-build stronger communities of belonging for our students. Creating access for students to experience a retreat can sustain spiritual well-being not just during their collegiate experience but also as our students enter a vocation of alumna. Retreats centered on Benedictine spirituality can help us not only with opportunities for continued formation but also to help cultivate lifelong skills that ultimately foster well-being.
