Sports Information/Athletic Media Relations

The athletics media relations department serves as the hub for athletic communications at the College of Sant Benedict. It is an office that strives to enhance the brand while providing essential media services including photography, features, recaps, and departmental news and updates. Our department strives to meet the ever-growing needs of media covering collegiate sports and assist other information-seeking organizations and individuals. Here, we focus on keeping image a top priority in relations with media, fans, supporters and others. It is our focus every day to tell the unique story of Bennie Athletics through imagery, presentation and words.

To tell our story and to continue to enhance our brand, the department needs to continually access and update office equipment and tools. Among the needs is access to high quality equipment which creates opportunities for student-athletes and coaches at Saint Benedict. Having access to upgraded equipment and creating creative space for photos allows us to enhance our photo, video and social media presence to showcase our Bennie athletes! Being able to showcase our brand with high quality images, video and presence on social media allows us to show the world how much our Bennies accomplish on their respective playing fields, in the classroom, and in their communities. We also strive to create a space for the athletes to have fun media day experiences that athletes at all levels get to enjoy by creating a designated studio space.
