Zeta Tau Alpha was founded in 1898 at Virginia State Female Normal School, now Longwood University, in Farmville, Virginia. The Eta Lambda Chapter was established at the College of Charleston in 1972. The ladies of ZTA are avid supporters of breast cancer awareness organizations.
