Kappa Alpha Order was founded in 1865 at Washington College (now Washington and Lee University) and the Beta Gamma Chapter was founded at the College of Charleston in 1904. KA regularly supports the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, and the Travis Manion Foundation. Members are also avid volunteers with Operation Toxic Shield.
