Alpha Tau Omega was founded at the Virginia Military Institute in 1865 and the Beta Xi Chapter was founded on the campus of the College of Charleston in 1889. Alpha Tau Omega regularly supports Be The Match and volunteers with the Charleston Miracle Network.
