Colgate Resolutions Reception & Performance - Washington, D.C. 2025

Join alumni, students, families, and friends for a reception featuring an a cappella performance by the Colgate Resolutions.

Registration is $20; appetizers and drinks will be provided.

The Resolutions, or "Resos" as they like to be called, are students brought together by a common goal: to bring a cappella music to the Colgate community. The Resos are Colgate's oldest gender inclusive a cappella group and pride themselves on their diversity of talents, musical backgrounds, musical tastes, and personalities. The Reso repertoire includes everything from pop to electronic to indie to classic rock, and grows every semester as members craft original arrangements of their own personal favorites. They perform a diverse array of songs from David Bowie, to Jack Johnson, to Carole King, to the Rolling Stones. Each year, they travel across the Northeast on their JanTour and are so excited to be stopping in Washington on their way.
