In honor of our 25th reunion, the Class of 1998 is coming together to make a significant collective difference in the lives of Colgate students.
Our goal is for at least 75% (or 537) of our class members to make a gift to Colgate this year. If we achieve this goal, our class will set a record for the highest participation in a 25th reunion year in Colgate's history! While we are no longer Colgate's biggest class on record, let's make it clear we are still the best class ever.
You can support any program that holds meaning for you, but we hope you will consider directing your gift to:
- The Colgate Fund, which benefits 100% of students by supporting financial aid, studies aboard, student life initiates, and more
- The Tonya Gscheidle Henderson '98 Endowed Scholarship, established in memory of our beloved classmate who recently died of cancer. This scholarship is active and awarded to students who demonstrate financial need.
- The Robb McDonald ’98 Memorial Endowed Scholarship, established in memory of a dear classmate shortly after our graduation. This fund is about $16,000 short of the threshold required to make it available to be awarded to a student each year. In our 25th year, it would be both meaningful and fitting to complete this project, activate the scholarship, and see it awarded to a deserving student in the next academic year.
Thank you for marking this milestone anniversary by making a difference. The class of '98 does have the biggest heart!
Gratefully,
