CMS Athletics

Join in on October 16 and 17 for the seventh annual 1946 Challenge with a gift to your CMS team and help drive the success of CMS teams and Scholar-Leader-Athletes.

Your donations to a sport go directly to that team enhance the student-athlete experience for each of CMS’ teams in areas such as out-of-state team travel, leadership development, health and wellness, equipment, training technology and much more. CMS alumni athletes, we need your help as well connecting with your former teammates about the Challenge. While a donation can be made year-round, the 1946 Challenge has become a prime opportunity to show your CMS spirit, connect with former teammates and coaches and donate to your team, all while having a friendly competition. And we know Athenas and Stags from all generations love to compete!

Your gift—of any amount—can go to any of CMS’ varsity teams, Campus Recreation, Sports Medicine, the Equipment Room, or the AD Fund for Athletic Excellence, which supports the program as a whole. 

Donations to club sports can be made as well, however are done so on the CMC 1946 Challenge page.

Q: How do I set up a matching gift or challenge?

Q: Can I split my donation between two or more sports/designations?
A: Yes, this can be done so on the checkout page when making your gift and choosing a designation. You can select up to 5 sports/designations to make a donation to. To do this, click "Give Now," add in amount and select designation, then choose "Add Additional Gift," add in amount and select designation. Repeat steps up to 5 times.

Q: Can I make a gift with Venmo?
A: Yes, Venmo is integrated into this Give Campus page. When making your donation, click "Pay With Venmo."

Q: I would like to donate to a club sport such as women's rugby, men's lacrosse, men's rugby or men's volleyball. Where do I do that?
A: Donations to club sports can be made here on the CMC 1946 Challenge page. If the sport is not listed, choose "Other" and write in the club.
