When you choose to support the Southwestern Foundation, you commit to an investment that will improve people’s lives right here in our local community. Our most impactful work is providing scholarships. Most of Southwestern’s students rely on aid to come to college. More than half are the first in their families to go to college and pursue professional, high-tech training. With gifts to our college foundation for scholarships, we help students gain confidence on their way to becoming tomorrow’s leaders and innovators.
By donating through ROCCS, you are supporting our Richard Grossman Emergency Scholarship Fund, which provides critical assistance to students facing temporary financial challenges. These scholarships serve as a lifeline, enabling students to stay enrolled and complete their studies. Over the years, we’ve been the last resort for many students who might have been forced to drop out—sometimes just months before graduation—without help to repair a vehicle, keep the power on, or address similar urgent needs.
