Basic Needs Endowment

Too often, society assumes financial insecurity is just part of what it means to be in college, rather than recognizing the toll it takes on today’s students and their families. It’s not about surviving on a tight budget anymore. It’s about making impossible choices between housing, utilities, food, childcare, transportation, and the dream of earning a degree and taking valuable skills into the workforce. The CCC Foundation is committed to raising funds to provide students with responsive support to help keep them focused and connected to their education. Funds through the Basic Needs Endowment allow the Foundation to step in and invest in CCC students, their families, and our community.

A gift to this fund ensures CCC students of today and tomorrow have access to stability as they pursue their education. Together, we can replace the outdated narrative of struggling college students with one of community, resilience, and opportunity.
