Too often, financial insecurity is treated as simply part of the college experience. But for today’s students, the reality can be much more complicated. A rent increase, an unexpected car repair, a childcare bill, or an empty refrigerator can quickly become the difference between staying enrolled and putting a degree on hold.

At Clackamas Community College, we believe students shouldn’t have to choose between meeting their basic needs and building a better future. That’s why the CCC Foundation established the Basic Needs Endowment and thanks to the generosity of our community, the endowment is now fully funded, creating a sustainable source of support for CCC students and their families for years to come.
