World Languages/ASL Day: Access, Belonging, and Future Pathways
Make World Languages Day Accessible for All Students
World Languages Day (WLD) invites high school students—especially our CiHS and regional partners—to spend a vibrant day on CWU’s campus exploring languages, cultures, and academic pathways. Students enjoy interactive mini-lessons, cultural activities, and performances led by CWU faculty and students, gaining a meaningful first glimpse of what it feels like to belong at CWU.
This #GiveCentral campaign focuses on one goal: removing cost barriers that keep students from participating. Your gift helps cover transportation, registration, and meals so every student can fully engage in the day.
How your gift makes an impact:
- $20 – covers one student meal (meals average $18).
- $50 – covers registration for one high school group.
- $100 – offsets transportation costs so students can get to CWU.
- Any amount matters—they combine with other donations to expand support for meals, registration, and transportation.
Partnership impact: Through CWU College in the High School (CiHS), your transportation gift goes even further. CiHS supports registration and meals for some groups, allowing donor dollars to focus on ensuring access and inclusion.
When students can access campus experiences like WLD, they are more likely to envision themselves in college, explore new possibilities, and connect learning to their future. Thank you for investing in students and helping make CWU accessible—one campus visit at a time.
Support students experience languages, cultures, and belonging at CWU!
