Students in ART 416: International Experience in Art, Architecture, and Design spend 12 transformative days in Mexico City, experiencing iconic artworks and architecture from pre-Columbian times to today. For many—especially those who have never traveled abroad—this is a rare, life-changing opportunity.

Beyond the classroom, students engage directly with Mexican culture through experiences like salsa dancing, visiting the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco, and connecting with peers at the Art Academy of Mexico. These moments deepen their learning and broaden their perspectives in lasting ways.
