ISSACS
The Institute for Smart, Secure and Connected Systems (ISSACS) at Case Western Reserve University fosters foundational research, development, application, and education of connected devices and systems through innovative and collaborative engagement across campus and beyond.
ISSACS seeks to catalyze efforts at Case Western Reserve University and throughout Greater Cleveland to seize the multi-trillion dollar economic opportunity of the Internet of Things (IoT) with convergent thinking, behavior, and values at its core.
As a part of the IoT Collaborative, ISSACS strives to drive transdisciplinary research, education and innovation in IoT to spur economic transformation and improve the quality of life for residents of Greater Cleveland. To that end, ISSACS is seeking to raise $5,000 by Feb. 28 in support of this mission.
Your support of ISSACS fuels these strategic priorities:
- student and faculty project support to train the next generation of engineers, leaders, and scientists with a deep understanding of technology and the public interest.
- supporting student participation to attend conferences and other extracurricular activities including competitions
- course development
Whether it’s through monitoring air quality in urban neighborhoods, developing solutions that improve the performance of manufacturing equipment, or connecting wearable devices to advance health care applications, ISSACS is a truly multidisciplinary, collaborative, university-wide institute bringing together the best of Case Western Reserve and our region.
ISSACS is building the infrastructure necessary to create new laboratories, hire new faculty and personnel, and support interdisciplinary research and education teams with experts from business, law, medicine, nursing, social sciences, and more.
