The Tartan Scholars Fund’s mission is to provide support for high-achieving students who have limited resource backgrounds.
In 2019, the first Tartan Scholars cohort was welcomed by the university and to date we have had over 300 students join the Tartan Scholars family. On Giving CMU Day, your support of the Tartan Scholars Fund not only provides financial support, but opens the doors to a first-rate education and provides social support to lay the groundwork for these students to reach their full potential.
