The Olitsky Program aims to bridge the gap to meaningful employment for individuals who may identify with having cognitive or emotional differences. It provides strength-based guidance, builds partnerships with employers and communities, and creates opportunities to showcase talents and launch successful careers. Leveraging the strengths of neurodistinct thinkers, the program is intentionally designed to be open and beneficial to all.
This program collaborates with students, alumni, faculty, staff, employers, and community partners by providing the following:
- Individual and group support focused on making progress on professional goals and empowering individuals to communicate their strengths and advocate for their needs in the workplace.
- Barrier-reduced opportunities for students, alumni, and employers to make meaningful connections.
- Educational sessions for higher education professionals that bring awareness to neurodiverse experiences and best practices for creating neuroinclusive environments in higher education.
- Workshops for employers (i.e., higher managers, senior leadership, managers, etc.) to understand the business value of neurodiversity and disability inclusion in the workplace and take away best practices for attracting and retaining diverse talent.
