Carnegie Mellon’s Hispanic-Latino Alumni Association (HLAA)’s mission is to connect and reconnect Hispanic alumni, students, parents and friends to the university and each other, facilitating lifelong bonds.
Our work to establish and grow the HLAA Endowment will make our mission succeed and endure. To date, we have secured over $61,000 in gifts and commitments and are now working to reach the $100,000 mark. The endowment will support HLAA initiatives in perpetuity, securing our work into the future.
For Giving CMU Day 2025, a generous donor has provided a $5,000 challenge gift to inspire others to support the endowment. Our goal is to secure 50 donors making gifts of $10, $25, or even $500! — in response to her $5,000 challenge.
Last year, we had 31 donors make gifts to the HLAA for Giving CMU Day. Can we secure 20 additional gifts this year to meet the challenge? Your HLAA Board is confident that we can!
