Please consider a gift to Rocket Command this Giving CMU Day!
We are Carnegie Mellon Rocket Command, a student-led team competing in the NASA University Student Launch Initiative (USLI). Each year, we design, build and launch a high-powered rocket that meets NASA’s rigorous technical and safety standards. This challenge pushes us to innovate across mechanical structures, avionics, payload design and systems integration, giving students hands-on experience in aerospace engineering and project management.
This year, we’re building our most advanced rocket yet, featuring a custom payload experiment and a fully student-developed altitude targeting system. As part of USLI, we also engage in STEM outreach, sharing our passion for rocketry with local students and encouraging the next generation of innovators. Your support helps us purchase critical components, fund travel to NASA’s launch site and meet every technical milestone.
CMRC is more than just rockets. It’s a launchpad for future aerospace leaders. Your gift fuels our mission to reach higher, think bolder and represent Carnegie Mellon University on a national stage. Help us make this year’s launch our most successful yet.
Membership in this student organization and participation in its programs/activities are available to all students at the University, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, or any other protected class.
