We are Carnegie Mellon Racing, CMU's largest completely student-run engineering club. Each year, our team of over 150 passionate students push the bounds of collegiate electric racing by designing a vehicle completely from scratch.
Last season, we set a new track record in Acceleration at Formula Hybrid and placed 3rd in Engineering Design at Formula SAE Michigan among 100 teams. We are proud to call ourselves a top team in the U.S.!
This year, we are taking on a new challenge — making an integrated vehicle. This means designing and building a car that can both be manually driven AND autonomously controlled, all from the ground up. We are super excited for this new chapter for our organization and need YOUR help to make it a reality.
