Please consider a gift to Alpha Phi Omega this Giving CMU Day!
Alpha Phi Omega (APhiO) is a national, co-educational Service Fraternity based on the principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Kappa Chapter has been serving Carnegie Mellon continuously since 1929 and prides itself in its contribution of service to the surrounding community. The majority of Kappa’s community service projects consist of helping local organizations that need the extra hand. The projects can be anything from fundraisers to walk-a-thons to cooking meals for the homeless. We provide service to our fraternity through leadership development (both structured and learned), academic support, fraternal support and alumni relations. This is extended to the national level when we help plan or participate in sectional, regional or national conventions or workshops. Gifts to the Alpha Phi Omega Brotherhood Fund will be used for the betterment of the chapter and service to the community.
Membership in this student organization and participation in its programs/activities are available to all students at the University, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, or any other protected class.
