Please consider a gift to American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) this Giving CMU Day!
The Carnegie Mellon University American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) student chapter is committed to enhancing the professional growth and sense of community among chemical engineering students. This initiative supports a series of events designed to prepare students for successful careers while fostering stronger connections within the department. Building on our chapter’s established programming such as ChemE Day, networking nights and social events, we plan to introduce new professional development opportunities including mock interviews with professors, a guest lecture series featuring CMU Chemical Engineering faculty and LinkedIn and resume review sessions in collaboration with the Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC). These events will help students gain valuable feedback, refine their professional presence and explore career paths in industry and research. Funding will be used to cover materials, speaker coordination and event logistics to ensure accessibility and engagement across all class years. By supporting this initiative, donors help students develop their skills, connect with mentors and strengthen the ChemE community at CMU.
Membership in this student organization and participation in its programs/activities are available to all students at the University, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, or any other protected class.
